Foundry Casting manufactures custom cast aluminum motor covers from approved customer drawings or physical samples. These parts are made to protect motor components while providing mounting and heat-dissipation surfaces. The product geometry, operating environment, mating interfaces, quantity, and verification requirements are reviewed before production.
Tooling, process sequence, machining allowance, and finishing details are reviewed for the approved geometry. Particular attention is given to mounting pattern, bearing or shaft openings, wall thickness, cooling features, sealing faces, and electrical clearances. Material, dimensions, tolerances, heat-treatment condition, surface finish, and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order. Secondary work may include deburring, heat treatment, cnc machining, coating, and surface finishing as specified.
Inspection items, methods, and acceptance criteria are agreed before production. Packaging and the delivery schedule are confirmed after the product requirements, quantity, and shipping method have been reviewed.
