Foundry Casting manufactures custom gray iron oil pump body castings from approved customer drawings or physical samples. These parts are made to form the pressure-containing housing and internal flow passages of an oil pump. The product geometry, operating environment, mating interfaces, quantity, and verification requirements are reviewed before production.
Pattern, core, parting, gating, riser, machining allowance, and solidification details are reviewed for the approved geometry. Particular attention is given to internal passages, bearing bores, sealing faces, port threads, wall thickness, and leak-tightness. Material, dimensions, tolerances, heat-treatment condition, surface finish, and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order. Secondary work may include core removal, shot blasting, stress relief, cnc machining, pressure or leak testing, and coating as specified.
Inspection items, methods, and acceptance criteria are agreed before production. Packaging and the delivery schedule are confirmed after the product requirements, quantity, and shipping method have been reviewed.
