Foundry Casting manufactures custom brass sand cast parts from approved customer drawings or physical samples. These parts are made to provide corrosion-resistant bodies, bushings, fittings, and mechanical components. The product geometry, operating environment, mating interfaces, quantity, and verification requirements are reviewed before production.
Pattern, core, parting, gating, riser, machining allowance, and solidification details are reviewed for the approved geometry. Particular attention is given to core passages, wall thickness, threads, sealing faces, machining allowance, corrosion environment, and pressure requirements. Material, dimensions, tolerances, heat-treatment condition, surface finish, and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order. Secondary work may include core removal, shot blasting, heat treatment when required, cnc machining, polishing, plating, and leak testing as specified.
Inspection items, methods, and acceptance criteria are agreed before production. Packaging and the delivery schedule are confirmed after the product requirements, quantity, and shipping method have been reviewed.
