Foundry Casting manufactures custom precision cast automotive steering parts from approved customer drawings or physical samples. These parts are made to connect and transmit steering or suspension loads within a vehicle assembly. The product geometry, operating environment, mating interfaces, quantity, and verification requirements are reviewed before production.
Tooling, process sequence, machining allowance, and finishing details are reviewed for the approved geometry. Particular attention is given to load path, fatigue-sensitive areas, bearing or ball-joint seats, hole position, geometry, and traceability requirements. Material, dimensions, tolerances, heat-treatment condition, surface finish, and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order. Secondary work may include gate removal, heat treatment, shot blasting, cnc machining, drilling, broaching, coating, and assembly preparation as specified.
Inspection items, methods, and acceptance criteria are agreed before production. Packaging and the delivery schedule are confirmed after the product requirements, quantity, and shipping method have been reviewed.
